Book Reviewed – Where In The World Do I Belong

I was recently given the book “Hmong Refugee to Hmong American: Where in The World Do I Belong” by Victor Neej Thob Xiong. The book details the the Hmong people have dealt with since their days back in Laos, as well as their movement to the United States, and dealing with a new land. Its broken up in five parts, each very detailed which much personal insight.

Victor does a great job making you feel like you are there in the situation as he tells his own stories. You can definitely feel the heartache as he details the struggles and obstacles he and others had and have had to deal with.

Not only does Victor provide really great personal insight, but he has also done his homework and provided information based on facts. It helps make this a well balanced book.

Whether you are Hmong or not, this is definitely a worthwhile read. Show your support for Victor and pick up a copy today.
